Tamil Nadu has over 13.80 lakh Christian youths — but most are unreached, undiscipled, or spiritually passive. Many are sitting in churches, yet not walking with Christ or impacting others.

• Too many youth are distracted, directionless, or defeated.
• Very few are being discipled to live for Jesus and multiply.
• Many churches have passionate young people but lack a structure to raise disciple-makers.

God has burdened our hearts that:

That’s why UYD is not a program — it is a movement, birthed in prayer, to awaken, disciple, and raise every Christian youth in Tamil Nadu into witnesses and disciple-makers.

THE VISION: What Is the UYD Movement?

UYD is a state-wide youth discipleship movement with one goal:

To disciple 13.80 lakh Christian youth in Tamil Nadu through a practical, church-friendly framework — in 5 years, by mobilizing leaders, volunteers, and youth themselves.

We use a simple but powerful model:

Holy Cycle – A lifestyle of surrender, Scripture, accountability, and obedience.
Reach 60 / Raise 3 – Every youth commits to:

Reach 60 people with the Gospel
Disciple 3 others in one year

This is done in local churches — with full support to pastors and leaders.

THE STRUCTURE: How This Movement Operates Statewide

HOW MUCH TIME DOES IT REQUIRE MONTHLY?

We believe everyone can play a part, whether you’re a student, pastor, working professional, or in another ministry.

Here’s a guide based on levels of involvement:

REPRESENTING YOUR DENOMINATION OR LOCAL NETWORK

Are you already active in a denominational youth group, church network, or para-church ministry?

Great! You can:

• Represent the UYD movement within your denomination
• Mobilize youth using Holy Cycle & Reach 60 / Raise 3 in your own structure
• Share this burden with your pastors or youth heads

Depending on your capacity, you could:

• Lead a Church-level group
• Coordinate a District-wide youth cluster
• Represent your denomination at the State Core Team level

We don’t want to remove your identity. We want to strengthen your calling.
You can carry both your denominational loyalty and Kingdom vision — UYD is built on collaboration, not control.

WHO CAN JOIN AND HOW?

You don’t need a position. You need a burden.
This is not just for pastors or full-time workers. If you love Jesus and you love the next generation — there is a place for you.

Here are some roles you can choose based on your burden and time:

If You’re Passionate About Teaching or Discipling:
• Become a Trainer or Mentor
• Help teach Holy Cycle or lead a Reach 60 small group

If You’re a Church Youth Leader:
• Become a Church Liaison
• Mobilize your youth with UYD tools and trainings

If You’re in Another Ministry:
• You can integrate this with what you’re already doing
• We add strength, we don’t ask you to stop your calling

If You’re a Professional or Elder Youth with Passion:
• Become a Support Mentor or Professional Guide
• Share your skills or time with youth (career, prayer, teaching)

If You Can’t Teach but Want to Support:
• Join as a Prayer Intercessor or Logistics Volunteer
• Help cover regions spiritually and practically

REALITY CHECK: You Don’t Need a Stage to Serve. You Need Surrender.
